My pets run my home. That sounds a bit defeatist, but trust me, we prefer it that way. We just set our schedule around theirs, and life runs far more smoothly for everyone involved. I love our fur babies. We’ve got two dogs and three cats, which some might say is too many pets, but I’m honestly ready for more. I’ve got kitten fever, bad. But since I can’t have anymore, I’ll dote endlessly on the fur babies we’re blessed to have. They’re my second favorite to spend money on, behind only my niece and nephews. Here’s a list of my favorite products for being a pet parent and my favorite products to dote to my sweet pets. I’m sure you’ll find something perfect for your home or your pet family, no matter what pet you may have.

Give Your Pup The Best Collar
I’m always worried about whether or not my pups are comfortable in their collars, and the simplest thing to check for their comfort is the breathability of the collar. You want one loose enough not to choke, tight enough not to slip off, and made from a breathable fabric that won’t get them sweating.
Catch Excess Litter On This Mat
Litter mats are one of the best inventions ever. So many cats are litter kickers, but you don’t want that litter to be spread all over your house. So these litter mats keep it all in one easily manageable place. And when you scoop the boxes, you can also shake these off and reuse them!
Toys To Delight Pups
Toys are the ultimate gift for any puppy. I believe all dogs are puppies, but I know that’s not true, so I’ll expand and say these toys are perfect for any dog in your life. They’re fun, cute, and durable. Who needs more than that?
Your Pet Can Travel With You
So, there’s a cat in this picture but hear me out, you could put so many other pets in here! A guinea pig, a small dog, a bunny, maybe even a chicken (my mother-in-law is obsessed with her chickens, I wouldn’t put it past her). It’s a great way to let them see the world and keep them close.
Remove Pesky Mats
Mats are the bane of my family’s existence. My mom and dad have a German Shepherd-Husky mix and a purebred Husky. And let me tell you, those mats are nuts! This tool is the easiest and most painless way to get those things out quickly with no fuss and little muss.
Protect Your Pet From The Heat
You can bring your furry friend out with you anywhere with this tent! I don’t think it’ll fit a Doberman Pinscher, but any smaller dog would be comfortable here. It lets them enjoy the great outdoors without exposing them to grabbing hands or sweltering sun.
Keeps Pup Secure
You can never have enough leashes. I mean that from the bottom of my heart. I lose at least one leash a month. I usually find them a few months later, but that’s not helpful when I’m on the hunt first thing in the morning. This leash is durable and cute, so I’m adding it to my collection.
Dry Off Quickly
Bathing a dog can be fun; it depends on whether they’re afraid of water, but the drying process is never easy, and I know I go through at least three towels. This microfiber towel will quickly and efficiently soak the water right off your pets, so you don’t have to run through all your fresh towels.
Keep Bowls Where They Belong
If it’s not me, it’s my dogs. One of us is always kicking their bowls across the room. If it’s their empty food bowl, I’m not bothered, but their bowl full of water soaks my sock and makes me curse. This silicone mat will keep the stainless steel bowls still and safe from feet, canine or human.
So Fresh and So Clean
Pets get stinky. Full stop. They’re animals! Of course, they get stinky! But sometimes their stink is too great, and you can’t bear it while waiting for the next grooming appointment or bath day. This spray will get you through that rough patch and keep your pets smelling fresh and clean.
Enhance Joint Health
There are plenty of dogs out there that are genetically predisposed to hip dysplasia, knee problems, and joint pain. Even if you don’t have stairs, it’s tough for older dogs to get around. This supplement will help keep them healthy by enhancing their bone and joint health, so they stay safe and mobile for years to come.
Cave for Cats
I think it would probably also be great for rats or rabbits. Really anything that likes to be tucked up in cave-like structures. It’s made from wool and shaped with boiling water and olive oil soap, so it’s the most natural pet bed you can find so you can feel secure if they take a little nibble from it.
Secure Silicone Bowls
These bowls are larger than those from the top of the list, but they’re just as great! This set is for you if you’ve got a giant pet, significantly larger dogs that tend to eat and drink a ton. It comes with two stainless steel bowls and a silicone mat to secure the bowls and keep them still.
Easy Grooming Glove
I love this product! You can groom your pet while petting them, which is great for anxious dogs like mine or those zippy, speedy cats you can’t get to stay still. Just run it across them, and you’ll come away with any loose hair they’re shedding.
Keep Food Fresh
Canned food isn’t just for fancy pets; it’s suitable for older pets, baby pets that are still growing their teeth, and pets with any nutritional deficiencies. When you open those cans, you don’t always go through them all in one sitting, so these lids keep them sealed and safe, so you don’t waste it.
Sink Their Teeth Into This
Puppies need tug-o-war toys. Their little puppy milk teeth are vicious, and they need something to dig into their teeth. They’ve got to get their puppy energy out somehow, and I think tug-o-war is the most fun way to help them do that if you’re constrained to the indoors.
Clip Those Nails
It’s so important to have a good pair of doggie claw clippers on hand. My dog is anxious and high-strung doesn’t even begin to cover it, and to have her nails trimmed sets her off. These clippers let me get to her nails carefully and quickly despite her freakouts.
Grab Fishy Friends
Fish are pets too! I know we spend a lot of time thinking about furry friends, but fish make great pets. And they’re beautiful to look at. If you need to clean your fish tank, this net is a great way to move them from one environment to another safely and efficiently.
Potty Training Bell
Potty training can be a pain. It’s hard to do and frustrates; it often ends in tears. But it’s crucial to keep your house clean and pee-free. This button is a great way to potty train that allows your dog to communicate directly with you—easy and, honestly, fun.
Keep Water Clean
My cat is extra. She will only drink water from a bowl with moving water. As annoying as I find that, she won’t drink water if I don’t give her what she wants, and then she’ll get a UTI, and I can’t let that happen. So, I’ve stocked up on these filters to keep that water fresh.
Water On The Go
Watering your dog on the go is essential! You can’t take them for a hike, or even a long walk, without giving them something to drink. They’ll pass out. Or maybe not; I’m not sure if dogs pass out or not. But they’ll be unhappy! This collapsable bowl lets them drink on the go with ease.
Probiotics For Pups
Probiotics aren’t just good for humans! They’re suitable for the digestive system of animals too. Think about it; they eat whatever they can get ahold of, even their poo, so their systems can use all the help they can get. Keep them as healthy as possible for as long as possible.
Easily Scoop Poop
Getting your face anywhere near a litter box is inadvisable. It smells gross, but also, there’s all that bacteria and dust getting in your front. Thanks to its extending arm, this scooper lets you quickly grab the poop without getting your face down there.
Keep Your Pet On A Leash
This is an excellent leash for training! Or if you’re a regular walker, hiker, or even a runner, I think you’re weird if you run with your dog (mine always trips me up). This leash is super reflective, so you don’t have to worry about drivers missing you when it’s dark out.
Quick Dry Your Pet
If towels aren’t your thing, if your pet is afraid of towels, or if they won’t stay still, this drying glove is a great way to get them all handled without the giant towel. You can pet them dry; soothing while drying.
Puppy {{Training Collar}}
{{Shock collars}} are a great way to train pups. I know many people don’t like them, but they’re a great way to get your dogs adjusted to the boundaries of a new backyard. They don’t hurt very much, and only for a quick second, just enough to grab your dog’s attention.
Protect Your Car Seat
Pets are fantastic, but their hair is not. It gets everywhere, and then it sticks to absolutely everything. It doesn’t matter if it’s a dog, cat, or rabbit; it will show up around no matter what you do. This pad is fantastic; it keeps the dog hair from sticking to your car.
Keep Your Best Friend Safe
Taking your furry BFF on a trip with you can be super fun, but it’s dangerous to have them in the car if they’re not properly strapped in. This seatbelt is a great way to keep them safe and sound on your next adventure.
Your Pet Deserves to Be Comfy
Pet beds are everywhere in my house. We think they all deserve a bed — cats and dogs alike. And they all love them. We’ve got one of these beds in our house, and it’s such a favorite of the cats especially, but the dogs sleep on it whenever they get a cat-free moment.
Control Food Mess
Let’s face it — pets are messy AF. They can’t help it. But you can!
This food mat keeps them from scattering their food all over, so you have a much easier time cleaning up after them. No stray kibble bits strewn all over your house.
Paw Relief
Your pets are constantly on their paws — it’s the only way they can get around! This balm heals any cracks or cuts they might have picked up as they padded around. I love to use this on my pet’s paws, cats, and dogs alike, when it’s hot outside for a bit of relaxation.
Clear and Clean Eyes
Dogs can get pretty bad allergies. I don’t know if that’s because their eyes and noses are so close to the ground and all those allergens, or if they’re just not well-equipped for pollen. Either way, their eyes get congested, and this wash cleans them out, removes those icky-looking stains, and eases eye discomfort for your pets.
Treat Upset Stomachs
Sometimes your dog eats something it shouldn’t. Scraps, poop, litter, chocolate even, and all of those things tear up their digestive tracts, which often leads to diarrhea, which no one wants to deal with. This medication eases any pain or discomfort and stops their runny poops.
Protect Your Furniture
I love my cats. I would die for them. But every time I hear their little claws working into my furniture, I want to toss them right out the window. So, I grabbed these protective covers so we could live in peace and harmony. They’ve got no chance of scratching up my furniture, and I’m a happy camper.
Step Up Their Oral Care Routine
Did you know that pets need good dental hygiene too? I knew it, but I didn’t know it. You know? But it’s actually just as crucial to their health as it is to ours. That’s why this toothpaste is so great and is my new favorite for my pets.
High-Quality Toy
Dogs love bones. We’ve all heard that, right? But most bones aren’t good for them. They can splinter, put unnecessary wear on their teeth, and make some pups sick. This bone is made of high-quality rubber, so you can give your dog this bone without worrying.
Get Rid of Odors
I. Love. Angry. Orange. Angry Orange is the best way to keep that gross pet odor out of your house. It’s not easy to get it out by hand, trust me, and this has been a lifesaver. Plus, this comes with a UV light that lets you get the spots precisely to get every last bit.
